Making more work for you… I’m sure Mike would be happy to expand the logo into a full banner, he does a lot of large format print stuff.

Great point, Josh. I have the hosting all set up for mspwp.com, but I haven’t migrated the site yet. I’ll do that this weekend.

Ha! if we do a MSP WordPress one with the domain name on there it might be a good time to think about making the switch to mspwp.com, I’m sure once we start organizing a WordCamp someone at the foundation will […]

Agreed! I will design them. Can you provide me with a vector graphic of the round ”MSP” logo?

You know what? We need a ”Ye Olde Tech Shoppe” banner as well.

FYI, I think buying an MSP WordPress banner would be a good use of any leftover funds.

Let’s get a WordUp one. Are you willing to design it, Barbara?

Hey that is a great site. They are cheap! I can get a 2′ x 8′ banner for just $41. Nice.
What do you guys think? Should I create one?
You want the WordUp graphic or the “Minneapolis St Paul Wordpress User […]

I love the idea of a banner. I bought a 3×5 one for my band a few years ago for around $40 from http://halfpricebanners.com/, I think…

Sweet, we’ll make you a snazzy treasurer hat Toby! I know that the WordPress Foundation is handling funds for WordCamps now, they will pay out deposits on venues and other expenses in advance so you don’t have […]

The question about the artwork got me to thinking about one other possible item or expense — should we think about having a nice big color banner printed up with the logo on it? Something to hang over the main […]

    Winnie,
I am with Josh – Let’s absorb the fees.

We do have a FB page, but it is never updated. Anyone want to take the lead on that piece?

Regarding collection of money, I don’t know the best way to go about that. Getting the Nerdery involved in that aspect doesn’t seem like the right path.

Toby had mentioned in a different thread that Matt had some funds left over from the first WordCamp that could be applied to the next WordCamp. Hopefully we’ll have some cash left over from WordUp too, so it […]

So, is there a checking account associated with the last Wordcamp? We need to accept ticket revenues some place, and I figure nobody wants to claim the income individually. If there isn’t, perhaps this is a […]
